- Shall cut strips of paper in three colors. Strip width should be twice larger than the pitch, plus the allowance of 2-4 mm. For our step width of the strip is obtained by 22-24 mm. The very first strip should be slightly wider, since they cover the outer contours of the Christmas tree. How much should bands at once is difficult to calculate. Better to cut them during the work.
- Fold each strip in half lengthwise.
- Cut out five bars for the trunk of different shades of size 35h20 mm. Fold them in half.

How do I make bows. MK
That such beauty can be created by yourself!

I take the tape, divide it in half and mark the middle of a pencil. Carefully enclose the ends of the tape to the marked middle, it turns out "eight".
Then, conditionally to notice the middle of each loop and, as it were pulls her to the middle (red arrow painted). I do not know how to explain the pictures could be clearer.

I really wanted to play with the wipes. And, frankly, the result of my very surprised and pleased. A man has been more frequently to compare me with Schroeder (paper shredders). :-)
So ...
To get started, you need to break in tiny pieces of tissue. Chunk size affects the outcome - then a matter of taste.

Tutorial: How To Make Tissue Flowers
I currently have a project underway that requires tissue flowers. You'll find out more about that Friday. But for now, I thought I would share how to make tissue flowers. I know there's many ways to make them but this technique seems to work best.I had planned to show a flower I made with the accordion fold method (for comparison) but my son got to it first. He was dipping it in his juice and pretending it was peeing. Apparently he has my creative spirit.
Painting the Newspaper Roses Red
"Would you tell me, please," said Alice, a little timidly, "why are you painting those roses?""Five and Seven said nothing, but looked at Two. Two began in a low voice, Why the fact is, you see, Miss, this here ought to have been a red rose tree, and we put a white one in by mistake..."

The past week I've been working on decorations for a birthday party. I'm trying to make most of the decorations out of newspaper. This is one of the ideas I came up with. I feel like it is missing something, perhaps some newspaper leaves. Suggestions welcomed.

Cutting flower paper
How to paper christmas tree ornament
a paper christmas tree ornament
This as simple as it gets. A few scraps of paper, one seam and in minutes you’ve make a pretty, handmade ornament. I used paint chips (in lovely martha stewart colors) from the hardware store because I had them on hand, but cardstock or thin cardboard or old christmas cards would all work well.

Winter Crafts: Coffee Filter Snowflakes With A Message!
Coffee filters are great for crafting, and they also make perfect material for snowflakes, since they're already round! And while you're at it, grab some rubber alphabet stamps and some colorful ink pads and give your kids a spelling lesson while having fun too. I think the message on our snow flakes is mostly wishful thinking, since we are desperate for rain, but you never know! (Update: It is now pouring, yeah!)
